My air display season 2004 Pt III

After my disappointing trek to Yeovilton I decided at the last minute to try Biggin Hill on the following day. Not sure what to expect as this was the first show I've seen at this legendary airfield for many years. I wasn't disappointed this time & although the weather wasn't perfect it was one of the best events I went to last year. Good decision on my part as the previous day had apparently been a washout. So much interesting stuff there I had to fork out for another memory card for my camera. I posted a selection of my best shots at the time. Here's a few I left out.

Ray Hanna closed the show in his Mk IX. This became a tradition at air displays last year & you can't really follow that. I left tired but happy. My whole body ached from twisting & turning for more than 5 hours. It took me longer to get out of the airfield than it did to get there but it was worth it.
