well next time i do this, i'm gonna use the terraserver maps to find good picture plces, espically when I plan to go to midway & palwaukee.

O'Hare has no, i mean NO good picture taking spots. there are traintracks on the west side of the airport, expressways( yes 2 of em) on the east, and factories on the south. the north side was good for picture taking, but no place to park.

the airport parking lot wasn't good either, plus security was swarming the lots.

and at some point i'll give you the latest picture of what happened to meigs. as far as i know, all the ashplat & concrete has been stripped, and the hangars are gone, but the tower is still there.

I hate those kind of hangers... I'll try to dig up some pictures of a really cool hanger door. For the past 15 years it has had no repair needed.
