One of the two best parts of my job...

...marshalling an aircraft.  


I know it looks like I'm showing off my best impression of the aircraft approaching me, but I'm actually telling him to turn to my right (his left) by pointing with my right arm and waving my left arm.




Give 'im the wheels chocked signal and get a thumbs up in return...oh yess...too cool.  


The other best part of my job is pushing the plane back from the gate.    I placed my camera on the pushback tug and video taped one of my pushes...hehe.  The darn thing is 55 megs so until I find a way to shrink it or cut it down to a smaller size, I can't post it.  haha.

Yeah three of us brought our cameras that day and had some fun with them out there on the ramp.  It was beautiful day sporting some perfect light for pictures.

My ear muffs actually froze to my skin

The weather looks really good there, makes me jealous  :(

Really miss the airport life, will probably re-apply for ramp agent job this fall since they need people with experience as the airport expands its traffic.

Haha well Southwest has many sponsored tugs throughout the system, many of them sports affiliated.  The Sharks are San Jose biggest claim to fame so why not?  Plus, the HP Pavilion/San Jose Arena/Shark Tank/whatever you wanna call it is just down the street from the airport.  

We just got another pushback from Sacramento painted like California One.  I'm waiting for the day when California One comes in and pulls into a gate using that pushback.  That would be a great picture.
