I just typed out a long screed on the local scenery to go along with this lot. Then IE decided to crash before I saved it. >:( :'( Can't be bothered to go through all that again so here's the shots. ::)

Strong northerly wind & too chilly around the old lug'oles to hang around. After taking these I adjourned to the restaurant for a nice full English. I might still be keen but this is beyond a joke at my age. Roll on the Spring. ;)

Very nice Doug. Haven't seen a Bulldog for a while. Nice little Jodel too...

Thanks Charlie. The Jodel (actually a Robin DR220) belongs to a syndicate. My old friend Chris in the red jacket promised me a trip in their Piper Cub some time. ;)

I expect you can answer this for me. Compare this shot with the one above. Why does the ventral fin on the Bulldog move like that?  The one on the 310 looks the same. Can't say I've ever noticed it before.

What am I looking at exactly Doug. I can't quite make out what you're looking at? Tis early in the morning!;)

Is Chris in the red jacket famous for manufacturing Wots...

Unless I'm mistaken you can see green grass between the ventral fin where it joins the fuselage on the second shot. I can't see it in the first one. Maybe I've finally lost my marbles. ::)

The very same. ;) He doesn't always wear a red jacket. ;)

Thanks Craig. Not too bad really although the wind made it seem much colder. Like the idiot I am I left my cold weather gear at home. I don't usually worry what I look like but I sometimes have to keep up appearances you know. :D

Ah, I see your point. I'm thinking that it looks like an optical illusion...

Nice way to start the day Doug, and I think Charlie is right the ventral fin looks pretty solid in the first Bulldog shot ;)

OK, opticackle delusion. I accept that as my eyes were getting tired. Maybe I still have a couple of marbles left after all. ::) ;)
