Well since i have little patience to upload pics to myav one at a time i thought i would put a few more up on here. This time some of the engines they have on display at Cosford.

Bit of baling wire & duct tape will fix that up a treat. Some people have no sense of adventure. Where's the old pioneering spirit?

Very nice shots Craig. Do you know what they all are? Engines were never my strongest point.

I think the the top engine is a Pratt and Whitney twin wasp.
The second is a Pratt and Whitney Wasp junior.
The third obviously Merlin
4th is the Rolls royce Trent engine that powers the 747.
and the 5th is the kestrel i think.

They have a bunch of MiG engines at Oberschleissheim museum... much more interesting

Ivan these are just a few of of the collection that they have. Everything from experimental jet engines to early props. I didnt take pics of them though as i was more interested in going on the simulator next to them

And the hall in which the merlin resides is guarded during the day by some school kid and an old guy with a flash light:) Should your Hendon smash and grab fail.
