Control Tower

I thought this was a nice one too.

At Schiphol they changed a radar tower into a control tower because one of the runways is situated 4km away from their main tower. It wasn't designed to be a manned control tower, but it turned out pretty well. They had to use the original already built structure otherwise they'd lose too much time to get the thing operational. The only thing they did was putting a cabin between the steel structure and the white radar.

I took this photo in the early morning (very cold) with the sun almost right in front of me creating this effect. Hope you like it!

almost perfect Ken. Perhaps a little more mist surrounding it would have made it perfect. But you dont control the weather and it is a stunning shot. Your braver than i would be going out at that time in the cold:)
