Very nice. I think I hear that unstarted balsa-and tissue P38 calling me... uh-oh...

Where do you hear about these things Doug? Is it your connection with flying clubs or just seen it advertised in the local paper?
Great shots.:)

Thanks Craig. As you probably know, I've been an aeromodeller for most of my life & I've been a member of the model club since 1980. This is just one of the BMFA annual area events where I can meet up with all my old mates. Usually held on the first Sunday in February. I forgot all about it last year. Some of the chaps here today are also R/C modellers & at least one flies his own full-sized aircraft. You might have seen my photos of him lying under a Piper Cub at Shoreham last year. I met one chap who worked at Shoreham Airport just before I did & he helped build the Miles Student jet trainer. Very interesting as he knew most of the people I did all those years ago. Being an old gas-bag this type of thing is just my cup of tea. ;)

PS. I went to the R/C club monthly meeting tonight & had another nice chat. Not done any modelling for several years so I spend most of my time chatting these days. LOL 8)
