More R/C Photos!!!

Hey,
its really great to see that there are a few people in the flight sim community that also enjoy/enjoyed the world of R/C flight...heres a few pics of the modern side of the hobby as opposed to the "good 'ol days" that Hagar posted. enjoy!
this is me in my early stages of learning the art of helicopters. it is powered by a .30 cc nitro engine...

One of the mre popular models out at the field sunday mornings the, GWS P-51. At the time of the picture, it was powered by the stock electric motor and batteries. Currently, it is tearing up the sky with a brushless motor and lithium ion batteries

look very closely at the botttom of the helicopter...that chrome cylinder with the puple ring on the front is a miniature gas turbin engine! Yes, it runs on real jet avation fuel! I had the privilage of assisting in the build of this very complex model. This picture was take before the installation of all of the radio components (huge tangle of wires) and the fule system (very complex system of plumming, electronic soloniods, fuel pumps, propane starting gas tank [already installed...little white tank] and 2 saddle gas tanks made out of Colman fuel cans)

Picture of fiberglass "canopy" before paint...

Here is a picute of a friend of mine's very scale trubine powered heli. this was taken at an rc airshow, and has sence been sold for around $30,000!

Last one for now... a semi scale .60 powered Cobra attack heli...

there are many more where these came from, just let me know and ill make another thread cause i already maxxed this one out!!!
thx for lookin
