Texans.................

Postby Fly2e » Tue Dec 28, 2004 8:01 pm

I think!
I was out shoveling snow the other day when I heard a rumble in the sky. I grabbed my old Olympus digi out of the glove box in my car and was able to get two shots off before they vanished!
They are Texans, right?

Thanks, yes I see the Mustang now that you have pointed it out to me!

Oh and Ken, since posting many of your "missed shots", you are the reason that digi is in my glovebox, for reasons just like this!  ;D

Advice well taken!  ;D

I see the P-51 now. Looks like D-Day colors almost. Ever have one of those start up right in front of you? What a sound!!

Nice, Dave...

I remember my dad took me to Long Island/MacArthur one day while he was on buisness and I think I saw those T-6's... That may be where they're based in case you're interested. ;)

Also a note of trivia... Note the red tails and noses... Could they have been part of the Tuskeege Airmen?

Cool shots, and that would have been great to have seen and heard in person  ;D

I know several years ago I happened to be outside and about 8-10 Army choppers flew over, one right behind the other, playing follow the leader, or chopper I guess, and that was quite a sight and sound too... ;D
