Broken JAL 747

Here is a pic of an engine pulled out of Japan Airlines newest Cargo 747 #4 engine (it was like 3 weeks old when they yanked it). The engine replacement was about 6 million dollars. About a week later, they had another engine on another 747 go bad, and that one cost 7 million, both here in Anchorage.

I'm not sure, but when I looked at the T-Wheels of this on, I noticed a few hot spots on a few blades, so I figure they overtemped this one. Not sure about the other one, I think I heard it was bird ingestion.

They already stuck it in the cargo hold of another 747 and shipped it away.
