If you can't get enough of Vipers...

...you should go to Kleine Brogel AB!  8)

we saw around 12 F-16's taking off and land. always in pairs of two to three aircraft. most of them were A's, one was a B model, used to escort the F-104. i guess they used it to make some air to air shots.

the last ones are from the display we got. the weather was bad so the results are  ::). the opening of the show was impressive. Cpt. John Van Den Bosch came towards us at full afterburner...as you can see in the photo, very very low. when his show was almost over, we saw him making a turn to approach us straight ahead. everybody knew what was going to happen and we all yelled like children...it was amazing!  8)

Excellent Bones, Fantastic. ;D

I believe I've seen your Cpt. John Van Den Bosch display several times this year. Very impressive. ;)

Very nice! The image quality in #2 and #5 is excellent and #3 is a very dramatic shot! Are you using an EOS300D?
AMD Athlon 64 3700+
GeForce FX5200 256Mb
1GB DDR400 DC
Seagate 500Gb SATA-300 HDD
Windows XP Professional X64 Edition

That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they

yes i do. i use the 300D together with the 75-300mm USMIII lens (without IS). hopefully i can afford an L lens next season which will hopefully improve the quality of my shots alot. this combination is good to start with though.  ;)

in L lenses, Canon uses different glass (i think fluorite). besides the better glass, those lenses produces sharper images in bad light conditions. the 100-400 which i want to buy, will give me better results in conditions like these. believe me, it will be noticable!  ;)

I've never used the lens you used to take those shots so I can't compare the quality myself, tell me how it goes when you get your L lens will you?

BTW I find the 70-200mm f2.8 L IS USM lens to be a very versitile one, you can even put a 2x teleconverter on it for an F5.6 140-400mm lens. That is what I use now but may be a bit pricey for you if photography is only a hobby of yours and not your job ;D.
