Back to normal

No air displays near me this weekend so I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms. I heard about an Aerojumble at Shoreham so popped over there to see what was going on. Despite the murky weather there was plenty of activity. Ideal for some much-needed practice in dull conditions. Here's a few of the more interesting types at my own private air show.
Nice little Vans RV-6. There were 2 examples on the airfield. This one is locally owned & was doing circuits & bumps all morning. I had lots of fun shooting it from all angles. (I might do a separate thread on it if anyone's interested.)

Very unusual registration on this vistor. It took a little detective work to find out what it is.

Nice colour scheme on this Islander. Haven't seen it before.

Don't see many of these. One of my better efforts.

One of the local club aircraft. I've been wanting to get a shot like this for ages.

Been trying to catch this chap for a long time. Just got it in frame. It was almost one of Hagar's famous carrot-chops.

Experimenting with the camera brightness settings. I got this about right. No post-processing necessary.

Soon after this it started raining so I headed for home. I took lots more photos if you want to see them.
