Awesome shots, I espeically love the Dr.1 and the Jenny-both beautiful planes.  I think the Dr.1 is my overall favorite-it is the plane I like the most from the WWI era even though they didn't make that many and it wasn't used for very long.  Still a great plane though.

Very nice Joe. Looking at your photos brings back lots of fond memories for me. Old Rhinebeck looks just the same as when I visited some years ago. It's one of those magical places - wonderful. :D

Thanks for posting them. ;)

That's nice to know. I hear that Stanley Segalla "The Flying Farmer" is still around. Is he still doing those amazing things with his Piper Cub? I thought I spotted it in one of your shots.

Absolutely!
He was there sunday. I`ll post a pic of him and his Cub tomorrow.

That's great. What an amazing character. I was fortunate enough to meet him for a chat after his show. I have no idea how old he is. ::)

I look forward to seeing more of your shots.

Very very nice Joe...anything with more than one wing and has a prop I will look at anytime :)

I am sure there is a web site for Rhinebeck Aerodrome but do you think they would allow private aircraft to land there, overnight and visit?

Do you know if they perform during the winter months.

I will try to find their web site and thanks for posting those shots.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Here`s their site that has complete info.
http://www.oldrhinebeck.org/

They really discourage GA aircraft landing there.
However, antique aircraft are usually welcomed provided their performance  is compatable with the airstrip and prior arangements are made.

There is a public GA airport nearby.
