Sunday, I drove up to the Rhinebeck Aerodrome.
It`s a "living museume" of early aircraft in
Rhinebeck, NY.
Check out their site:

It was a beautiful day for flying and a great drive up the NY state Thruway.

Wonderful Joe, simply wonderful. ;D

I've been hoping someone over the Pond would visit Old Rhinebeck & post some shots. This is the US equivalent of Old Warden. Magic, pure magic for any true aviation enthusiast. Please post some more. ;)

PS. It was unfortunately too windy to risk flying the vintage types on the day I visited. We still had an amazing day out. I hope to return one day, with my camera. I still have the raincheck ticket somewhere. ;)

Awesome shots, I really like photos 3 & 4 of that beautiful Albatros, I have always lokved WWI planes-especially the German aircraft.

Thanks for sharing them.   ;)

All pics were taken using the lowest resolution
