I never get tired of watching aircraft taking off & landing. The strong, gusty, slight crosswind made it difficult for the older types today.

Wonderful sound of a Rolls-Royce Kestrel at full throttle.

I chanced a quick snapshot on his return. I'm getting more confident.

The throaty roar of the Merlin.

Sorry Ozzy. I missed the Spitfire. I rather like this one.

That last shot is rather arty Doug, and the second and third are brilliant, good timing

you seem to be the master of your new toy now. Those shots are stunning. Now if only I could arrange to be over for next season...
