Wood Carving at its best.......
Posted: Tue Aug 17, 2004 12:08 amTonight, Wendy and I ran up the island to Campbell River, reputedly the Salmon Capital of the World......all we had in mind was a quick dinner at a local cafe/diner to pass some time and not have to eat at home on a hot night......
Well.......what can I say, we both took our cameras as we usually do when we go somewhere, and unbeknownst to us, we came upon the annual Campbell River Carving Competition displays........
Here are a few of the scenes we found....most being about 6-8 ft high and not so easy to walk off with.....
