you read about it at many forums...'Anet sucks'! i don't really agree with it, it's a brilliant database...but sometimes a good shot isn't accepted while others get easily through the screening process (just because they have connections with the Anet admins?). here a few examples, the first two are from the same person (family?):

http://www.airliners.net/open.file/597587/L/

and one for buildings.net: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/615678/M/

you see what i mean? i know lots of people think they just use a computer which looks at the histogram of the photo and reject it without looking at it...they can be right!

here's my first photo that i uploaded. rejected (of course) but i thought it was a nice one. the weather was bad that day so it was very hard to take good HQ shots but oh well, i had a nice day...

i still have one photo in the queue...i'll let you know how it turned out!  ;)

Hi ken
Well firstly good luck with the second shot.
those first two pics i have no idea how they got on there. They were recently added and theres no excuse. The third was taken and added back when anet was still young and their standards were low. The last falls in the unique area so the quality doesnt have to be so high.

Can i take a guess on what your photo was rejected for?
Looks like Bad distance maybe, over exposed or possibly blurred? It is a nice shot though

quality was too low. keep in mind that this one is resized alot to meet Pete's rules. the one i uploaded to Anet looked a bit better... ;)
