Posted: Fri Jul 02, 2004 6:53 amIt is also the worlds oldest airworthy Spitfire being the 14th MkIIa airframe built at Castle Bromwich (that's in Birmingham) in August 1940. It was restored to flying condition to take part in the Battle of Britain movie and starred along with a several other current UK Warbirds.
