Ok, I went to Seattle today to drop off my grandparents so they could catch their plane back to Philly. Most of these are a bit blurry because I had to take them from inside the car, while moving  ::)

Most of you probably know what this is  ;D

This building (Columbia/SeaFirst Building) is the tallest building west of the Mississippi River on the mainland U.S. I'm not sure how high it is in feet but it is around 76 stories.

Some of the taller buildings in downtown Seattle.

This is the new control tower at KSEA. The first one was damaged and was no longer operational after the 6.9mag earthquake we had here 3 years ago. They made this one "earthquake proof"  ;D

After we dropped of my grandparents we decided to take a detour and stop by Boeing Field. This was sitting in the corner of the parking lot all by itself.

Sorry for the line that runs through the picture...it's the fence and it got in the way  ::) ;D Not sure what kind of jet it is but I see it often at KBFI. I'm sure someone here knows what it is.

On the other side of the museum sits the larger planes (that can't fit inside  ;D) This is the BA Concorde (G-BOAG) that made it's last landing on Nov 5,2003.
Image

Front view of the old Air Force 1 (Boeing 707 I think?) I've seen the new Air Force 1 (Boeing 747) but I don't have any pic of it.

Stay tuned for part two  8)

Nice pics!

Your "unknown" is  Gulfstream. I'm not quite sure, but based on the nacelle shape I would say a Gulfstream III.

Your first unidentified A/C is an early Rutan joint design called a Quickie.........many models have been made of this unique little homebuilt.

Great shots! I wish BFI had what they have now when I visited a few years back! Are you allowed to tour Air Force one still?
