Sunday fly-in part 3

Lots of microlights & home-builds around these days. They come in all shapes & sizes.
Fozzer arrives in his flexwing. I have no idea of the type. Microlights are not usually allowed to land here.
Image

The RANS S6-ESD Coyote II. One up from a flexwing. This one lives here.
Image
The airframe is covered with stretched sailcloth rather than the conventional doped fabric as you can see in this shot.
Image

The popular Jabiru. Constructed from the latest high-tech materials. A nice looking aircraft.
Image

The Technam Echo. Not seen one before.
Image

Cockpit of the Kitfox.
Image

A little help on hand at the end of the runway. This is listed as a TSW-2. I know nothing more about it.
Image

Sadly it was time for me to dash off. Pity as things were just warming up & the circuit was full of more aircraft arriving. The local vicar had also been invited to hold a memorial service. This was the scene as I was leaving.
Image

A well-organised event & a touching tribute. I'm sure those that flew from here in '44 would have approved. Well done all round. ;)

I am so very tempted to start my own album of "Hagar's Photos" ...

Your photos give life to the airplanes in the sense that they're not staged photos for a magazine article or review.  These are just real people flying about, that happen to stroll in front of your camera.

Hagar's new name,  DOUG THE SHUTTERBUG!
You sure are soaking up all the air field events! You are one lucky guy!
Pass me a cheeseburger please!!
Isn't that Fozzer standing near the hanger?

Great shots Doug, I'm terribly envious you get to see such a variety of planes, I'm stuck largely with An-2s or An-2s.

Mark ;)

Hagar old pal, I think every light vintage aircraft in the country must live in your part of the world. ;) Very nice photos and please post the Moth Rally stuff when you get it.

This is what the digital camera was bought for in the first place Doug......Keep using it and we all benefit from it as much as you do.....this is the sharing that brings each one of us to the locale of the shooter.....I am happy to be able to allow others to see what I see, and I know without a doubt that you feel the same way with your shots......fine work Hagar ! ! !
