Jacksonville, Fla.

Postby Wing Nut » Wed May 26, 2004 9:14 pm

Once upon a time I had pretensions of being a photographer and thought I would be the next Jerry Uelsmann.  That didn't quite work out, but I did get some halfway decent pictures out of it.  Here are a few from around Jacksonville Florida.  Note for those familiar with the area, the big building was still the Independent Life building.  :)

And you gave this up why, Kevin?  You've definitely got the eye and accompanying talent. ;)
Great edit, Bob.

Good one Kevin. Some nice shots there. ;)

No reason you can't continue doing it as a hobby.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the compliments a lot.  The reason I got out of it is still not clear to me, but early on I 'apprenticed' myself to someone who turned out to be not all that he seemed and I'm sure that was part of it.  The other was that I wasn't entirely sure where to go with it and how to make a living with it.

I seem to be having some trouble with my scanner.

i always have the same problem with mine and nothing i do seems to help. I have been told to have them just put straight onto CD, unless your willing to spend out huge amounts on a top of the range scanner
