Comox Lake Float Fly - R/C style

Well now, ....where to start..........hmmmmmm.......

I know.....first some images of the venue, then some static, then some flyin shots.......will be in three posts, so here is the first installment......hope you enjoy.
I had to endure some blistering sun to bring you these shots......after all, its not like I went to this event for my own pleasure, you know........ ;)

The Norseman is much modified from the proportions of the Unionville Hobbies kit ........I was told that there were many changes needed to make it look " right ".
The sagging covering is from the heat of the sun, so to prevent this, many of the guys have their planes covered with towels and sheets.

Oh yes it is Craig, in fact the other large plane beside it has a very similar pilot....both models built from the same hangar.....he's a good builder and flyer too !

I love R/C plane3s but never have seen pics of float planes. Awesome shots Rifleman!

AMAZING shots...and the attention to detail....WOW... ;D...!
..any chance of some photo's of the engines which are used in the models....I'm very curious about that radial-engined model... ;)...LOL....!
They all look like a fantastic crowd there, and having a fabulous time in the sun... :)...!
(Sun 'n Fun in Vancouver?...).... 8)...!
