Side note - the B2 and Jet Provost photos were taken with an Olympus C-50 digital camera.  The Patty Wagstaff and "Red Baron Pizza" performers were taken with a Mead Digital Binoculars - binoculars with a built-in camera that were a Christmas present.

Do you often get to see B2's fly over like that Felix?

No.  Even my son (based in Beaufort) says that that is a one-time happening.  There was an airshow Saturday and Sunday, and the B-2 didn't fly over on Saturday.  We were taking a walk along the waterfront when we heard turbine noises.  It wasn't the whine of an F/A-18, nor the deeper growl of a "heavy" ... we looked up and there was this "thing".

Not knowing the details, we can only assume that it was doing an air show flypast.

Very lucky walk indeed!  Thanks for posting the shot.

I think the closest to anything like that I have ever seen was during the warm up for the first Gulf conflict.  An A-10 caming screaming over my dad's house at about 600 feet being chased by some Harriers.  The A-10 was weaving about like a maniac and the Harriers were keeping as close as possible, it was breathtaking.  Sadly I had no camera.

Cheers Felix,

Will

Nice one Felix. The shot of that B-2 is amazing. Thanks for posting them. :)

PS. The Jet Provost is nice but I prefer Patty's Extra. :)

Bones is jealous! a B-2 is always an amazing sight! be happy you could hear it because it normally doesn't make lots of noise...that's the only negative i can say about this plane: the sound sucks.  ;)
