Back in 2001, I was still living in Ont and Wendy was on Vancouver Island.....it took a few more months before we got together, but at the time, we squeezed in what little time we could afford, to be in each others arms.

Overkill ?........I've done this flight on many occasions and Wendy has too....all A/C have included an A-320, A-330, A-340, DC-10, and numerous 767's.....they all must know what they are doing........(2 diff Airlines)

Nice clear shots Ken. I took a few on a recent flight from Gatwick to Charles de Gaulle. None of them came out too well so I didn't bother posting them. Not used to the camera as I had only just got it. The window was a tad misty & I didn't put the lens close enough to it.  At least, I think that was the problem.

Hey thanks Doug.....I had a bit of practice before this flight, as I had been shooting with it (my  Olympus 2040) for 3 months and had probably 2000 images to learn with.....

One thing I have found about aerial shots, is that you get more reflected light than if you shoot from a more normal, "on the ground" position.....when I shoot back at the ground, I try to underexpose by 1/3 or 2/3 of a stop to help fight off this higher level of brightness.....as for the window thing, yes you are correct, the closer you are to the glass, the less likely you are to have some background reflection coming back into your lens..... ;)

Thanks for the tips Ken. I don't expect to do much flying in airliners in the near future. Those days are past & my passport has expired. I might be able to experiment if I can cadge a few flips at Shoreham. Light aircraft were my first love. I've met a few old cronies in the last few weeks (+ a few new ones) & I'm working on it. ;)
