This time instead of having the raw floors installed, sanded and stained like we did downstairs, I opted to go with the 3/4 natural red oak but "Finished" this time. There is no sanding and staining, as you put each piece down, it is finished. My friend Glen lent me his hard wood floor installing tools to do the job. Here is what I finished yesterday and hope to finish the rest today. My arms and back are killing me!! It is quite the work out! If there are any carpenters out there who haven't used the Pre- finished laminates, you should try it. It is great stuff. I tell you, laying these pieces out so none of the seems line up is one Giant Puzzle!!
