I'm open to honest opinions, were does this technology come from.  ::)

well thats the thing! If UFO's exist it totally detroys most of our theories on flight! I belive it has been proved impossible to sustain flight (letalone hover) with a spinning disk (im sure someone will prove me wrong! (go on then hagar!)) thus makeing UFO's practicly impossible. As you can tell im not superstitious!

Remember, History is full of Imposiable facts that still happen. To me these are just electromagnetic helocopters, of traveling Gyros. No air preasure physics, Vortex spin rates. there was a fantastic book called " secrets of WWII german UFO's" it was all about the production of frictionless aircraft, and followed the development from prop planes to Jets to singlewings.

you would have had to of read this book to see what the flight dynamics discovered were. Its a extreemly well documented book on the history of aircraft desighn.
But seeing that flight sim has a few UFO's to fly, and ive tryed to control them in flight in FS2002, i thought it would be fun to post a string of X-file stuff  ;D

It's easy to make a fake photo of a UFO flying over a populated area. And you can do it with a Polaroid camera.

However, I also believe in UFO's. It's possible to make a flying disc. We just need to study more and that's it.

Actually an aerodyne looks a lot like a flying saucer...we just don't have any need to perfect that technology.

The Avrocar was an aerodyne design.

Well, the main reason why the Avrocar suffered many drawbacks was because it was made of just wood and metal. And those are heavy materials.

But today, we have what we Carbon Fiber or Fiber Glass and such. Very lightweight materials.

Not only that, the complex central fan that the Avrocar had was an impractical idea for such a design. It doesn't take one big fan to drive a sauser-shaped vehicle, it takes multiple small and simple fans to lift it off the ground.

Multiple fans on the edges would have made the design more stable even in higher altittudes. There are already companies that are using this new method along with lightweight materials for the new flying car [still a prototype].

Since when did UFO refer exclusively to a flying saucer or disk?

I think it's possible for UFO's to exist, but I don't believe in a flying saucer.  Catch my drift here?

Just remember that a UFO does not have to be alien to be a UFO. Think about what it stands for, UFO, Unidentified Flying Object. Therefore, if you see a flying object that you can't identify then its a UFO. Be it a frisbee or a spaceship. :D ;)

Sorry. I just spotted this. I'm not superstitious either. I'm in no position to prove anybody wrong. I never believed in alien flying saucers but I did in fact see a UFO myself many years ago. Although I never found out what it was I'm sure there was a perfectly logical explanation for it.

As for sustained flight with a spinning object, the frisbees my daughter & I used to play with seemed to work rather well. ;)
