Out & about

It seems that winter's on its way at last. After the interest shown in my last efforts I promised a few more photos of my local area. It's been raining ever since. LOL
Today was my first opportunity to take some shots for a week. The weather wasn't ideal but here's a few I took after breakfast on the way to pay some bills. All I ever seem to do these days is pay bills. ::)

The shops in the older part of Goring. I have no idea of their history, if any. I must try to find out.

The Mulberry pub, a short walk from where I worked just before retiring. They serve good food although the management changed recently. I used to have a pie & a pint here with the lads after working overtime to get the new company headquarters finished on schedule. (This reminds me, I forgot to take a photo of it.

Thanks Bones. This is what most people think is typical British weather. In fact it's usually much nicer, especially in my local area. This summer has been exceptional & I can't remember the last time it rained. They were talking about water rationing only last week so we really needed some.

This grey stuff is reserved for air displays & whenever I want to take a photo. It's what we call Sod's Law. ::)

Great shots Hagar (not enough pubs for my liking ;D). A fantastic virtual tour. Please post more.

Ozzy ;)
