Watching your wondefull shots, I notice that when they clipped wings on the Spitfire they clipped it's beauty as well (I know, efficiency was the culprit

I'm with you on that. I used to ride past a display clipped wing spit outside the Dunlop factory in Castle Bromwich and always thought they did it to fit between the fence and the factory. UGLY
