I confused, how did those trolley buses get around, did a driver steer them, and how did they stay attached to the wire?

Nice shots!!  We have a few of them running around Philly giving tours!!

A couple years ago Six Flags Great Adventure needed a steering gear for the 60's Leyland double decker they used in their parades.  I ended up contacted a company called The Direct Group in the UK and a chap named Andy hooked me up with one. I got an "Atta Boy" for that one and free passes for my family from Great Adventure!!  :)
