Personally I think the CAA should be demanding that all photos be handed over as evidence. These muppets endangered a lot of people and risk ruining other high speed taxi runs because of it.

There's an excellent post over on Pprune by an ex-Victor pilot which might make people realise how serious it was. A lot of (hopefully non aircraft operators and non aviation professionals) saying the whole thing was a non event on various forums!

Well, this thread seems to have gone a tad off-topic. Not my fault either. :P

Where's those Old Warden photos Steve? I've been waiting to see what you come up with before posting my feeble efforts.

Nice meeting you BTW ;)

Was trying to get some done this morning but my missus has forced me to go and do some work instead  ::)

Will put some up this evening I promise  ;)

I was going to add a post earlier to say that my initial reaction was the same as Craig's, but as a non-pilot I really don't know what I'm talking about. From what I have seen it certainly looks pretty serious, but who am I to comment on what was/should have been. I'm sure that lots of more capable and suitable people will be looking into it in detail.

Not a problem as far as I'm concerned, it seems that these Brunty Victor threads need to be kept under the radar anyway  ;) .....if not under the radar then at least under V1  ;D

Sorry for the off topic chat, but I had no clue there was still a Victor flying. Is it still in the temporary Gulf War tan scheme, or was it painted back to the normal RAF Green/Grey scheme?

On further research, scratch my comment of a flying Victor.
