Chiming in a little late...

I love the custom 'dirt' paint job Sean!  It almost really looks like it's a mess and hasn't been washed in three months.  Incredible what these painters can do with a car these days... ;D

Great purchase Sean, the 5.0 is a terrific engine, with the right parts you can get a LOT of HP out out of that block

It's true that as is, especially after I put the smog pump back on (

Ahh, that's bringing back memories of my '86 GT-5.0 HO. Only 110,000 miles? That 5.0 has lots of life left in it! When I traded mine it had around 250,000 miles and was still going strong. My '89 Cougar 3.8 has 176,000 on it and runs great.
The H.P. ratings on those was purposely lowered for insurance rates and EPA reasons. On a dyno don't be surprised if it isn't a tad higher. Oh, and please do something about that filthy engine bay! ;) ;D
