This Mig 25 was found and dug up in November 2003

That MiG 25 (minus wings & various other important bit & pieces) is being restored for display at the USAF Museum. http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1140530/M/

LMAO, I sort of figured you'd catch that.... ;)

I just copied it form the web site. I started to correct it and figured, what the heck and posted it as it was typed... ::)

I typed Exhumating into Google and all the hits pointed straight at variations of that article. ;D

Interesting Romulus...

I've been to 'TQ' many times. There are a few Iraqi jets there, but I've never seen that particular jet .

Because it has been shipped to the US recently... will be displayed at one of the Airforce museums.

Discovered any Stg44's already... rumours are that there are some of these still being used (as are PPSh SMGs)

And rumours I'm sure they'll remain. Considering the number of AK47's out there in the world no one is going to trouble themselves trying to find ammunition for MP44's or PPSh's. Especially for the MP44. I should think that ammunition is a collectors item these days.

There are some photographs of marines using PPShs for house raids... probably rechambered ones, but still 2x the amount of ammo you can reliably fit on a M4
