I've just been looking into this accident.
Happend at Laguna Seca at a historic meet. The driver is apparently a ferrari importer from holland or somewhere in that region. He was going through turn 6 rather slowly and hit a patch of oil the car hit the barrier the wheel got caught and as the car spun it just snapped the nose off. The interesting thing about this is, the car is the same 1999 ferrari Schumacher broke his leg in at Silverstone, although that was caused by something completely differant. There is no way this should have been able to happen because an F1 car is all one shell. Ferrari rushed it back to italy and a rather annoyed Ross Brawn was left unable to explain what had caused it. Haven't been able to find a follow up on his teams findings. But you know when the top dog is having to deal with some rich guys toy, something is up.
See me personally, I think the guy just tried driving it through Digbeth here in Brum. He stopped at a red light, and that is the result.
