u lucky bum, i did my work experience ina school, cudnt get to a RAF station GRRR (closest being Brize Norton)

i was at cottesmore last year on an ATC camp, rly nice base. one day we were watching the harriers practice their display bows (as next day was the family day), during which a few of us decided to find out how loud a harrier was whiel in a hover. took out the earplufs and OUCH. very loud.
