I could show you hundreds of beautiful pieces of wood that have been painted. Sometimes it can make the effect even better. ;D

I dont know if that is right, all i saw was pure mohogany, they had a B-52, and old 737 it looked like, apache, cobra, they had tanks, firetrucks, few more aircraft really didnt remember,

I baught my dad the firetruck for Christmas in which he is a firefighter and loves firetruck collectables, i took it to a woodworker and had him burn our towns fire logo into it and "truck 174" for his helmet number.

Well Mark, I think you answered that yourself. They do so because they are philistine. ;)

What make it even worse is that's its mahogany, one of the most beautiful woods! >:( :)

Well, if you're gonna fish...... ;)

I think it's pretty good, I particularly like the way the knot in the wood looks like cannon damage in the edit!

Oh, the shame! There are cheap woods to expensive, well-grained woods. Previous to this place, I worked a bit in a finish room where we made church/commercial furniture. Orders for quality Oak or Cherry wood, painted in white and baby blue! :P ::)
