Ya know what? This is really funny.

I DID MINE YESTERDAY !!!!!

I went to plug in the cable for the Ipod and said, "I just can't push it through all of that dust, it probablly won't work if I do." Rip tear swear HOLY @#$! look at all of that s*^t in there.

So I gave it a proper blow job right after a gental vacuum. Bounced it off the floor a couple of times just to make sure that I got everything else.

No dead mice, thank God.

LOL... I thought for sure I'd find a dead, decapitated mouse lying near one of my front fans... looking again at the pic of the centipede, I think it was just a skin... I think they molt...
I also shoved some tinfoil into the gaps between the case and the mobo panel... just hope the centipedes can't get in now.

Just thought I would poast and put you all to shame  8)

Just white glove tested it, and not a spec (except the CPU fan which I just finished cleaning and is now immaculate)

Anyway that is pretty grose. You really should think about buying some of the PCI covers to protect. But in all seriousness folks we should have a "Inside your tower" thread just to see what everyone has.

Cheers

I've never had any mammals lodged in my PC but plenty of insects and dust.....

I've just had to take my six month old Dell to pieces to see whats wrong with it. First impressions is that it all goes pear shaped when the graphics card goes in. This is where I wish I'd chosed the 6800GT over the X850XT-PE... Doh... No FS for me in the near future... ::)

Well, it was mouse poop, not ghost poop...;D and unless I put it on something a mouse can't climb up (and they can jump quite high, too) it wouldn't do much good.
I've denied them access now with the PCI slot covers... but I may build a little platform for the PC anyway, to minimize the amount of dust and lint sucked into the front.
I'd left it on the floor, initially, wanting to get the coolest air possible going in.

Its been done ;) However I found that a window Air Conditioner blowing directly into your case is even better than watercooling.
