Of course its not fake. Look on Anet, and search for A380 at Singapore Changi and you'll see a whole series of shots.

It just so happens that the first prototype is doing a tour of the far east and down under at the moment. The Singapore Airlines titling may just be temporary for the trip to Singapore. The first Singapore Airlines jet is still in the factory at Toulouse... :)

It goes into QANTAS colours when it arrives in Australia.

she is really impressive!
I can't stand waiting to see her at Paris charles de gaulle...
I wish one day I will be type rated (engineer) on this big bird, even if it may seem scary...

The pic is absolutely real, this isnt yet in service I think Airbus plans to keep F-WWOW, but it is the first time the A380 flew a real loooong haul and it landed at Changi, as SAL are the launch customer.

Power to Airbus! European marvel!  ;) :)

+ when she gets to Australia, it is also because at that exact time it will be Qantas's anniversary. Customer relations, you know?  ;)

Yeah, that cant be real. The weight would crush the bridge. If you look, there is no shadow, yet when planes fly over my house at FL010, there is a shadow on the ground. Also it is under its own power in the pic. Notcie that there are no wires, or tow bars to move that plane.

It is real. Maybe you didnt know this but there was over a year's work on that bridge at Changi to make it wider and strong enough to hold the A380. By the way, if the A380 couldnt be on that bridge, why would Singapore Airlines have ordered a 100 of them and not be able to operate them from Changi??  ::) Its as real as it gets.

Yesterday they announced this on TV5, a french news station. And why dont you check the airbus site if you still dont believe it??  ;)

And if you think that the 380 cant move under its own power, how do you suppose it flies??  ::)

Why would it need either?

For crying out loud it isn't fake. Its a cloudy day thus minimal shadowing.[/quote[
It's always cloudy (and 80% humidity) in singapore

That bridge can take the weight of a fully loaded a340-600 an empty A380 is nothing.
the schiphol one is wider (either 2x5 or 2x6 lanes) and takes full loaded 747F.
And if the A380 was a lot heavier (compared to a 744ERF) then nobody would have bought it in the first place as adapting the airports would have been too expensive
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

and it still stands. Chicago O'Hare already is too small, so we're expanding. we literally have ahd trouble from the start mauvering the 747's through the airport.

with the A380, we have to add 10feet of taxiway on either side. the city is going to have a fit. sadly we've already had one shooting over it.
