Sorry I didn't see it before Willit!  Thanks a lot ;D

Those are GREAT shots! Fantastic seats.... reminds me of the seats we haev for Penn State games, 5th row, right on the 50, PSU sideline.  Nothing like seeing JoePa kick at one of the refs up close and personal ;)

Thanks again man.... I watched the game in a TGI Friday's at the Plymouth meeting mall after a flight lesson, had a good time :)

oh boy, someone who doesnt understand why football players have to wear pads.
You see rugby has these silly rules in order to protect its players such as restricting the types of tackles your allowed to use. In football these guys run head first into each other quite often with a force alot more than any rugby tackle. Next the size of these guys, i read the average weight of a rugby player is 185lbs, sure you get some 220 to 240 but those are few and far between. 220 is your average player weight for American football. those guys on the line of scrimmage there, all weigh 270lbs+ you got a 250lb linebacking corp and a bunch of receivers and corners running at full speed all 200+lbs. Alot of beef and muscle.
Sorry rant time :-X

Sounds more like heavyweight all-in wresting to me. ::)

You still haven't explained why they call it football. :P :D

would love to see any more you may have, or any future trips. What sort of zoom did you have to use? it looks like you were close to the field.

You still haven't explained why they call it football. :P :D

Y'see, Doug, every now and then somebody actually kicks the ball... ;D
There are even players who do only that, for the extra-point goals, and I'm sure any one of them would tell you that they are the real stars of the show, thus the name.
But my guess is that the name was originally "American football", because it used to be a lot more like rugby than it is now. Probably spun off of rugby... I dunno, offhand.
But really, that's not important. what's important is:
Cheerleaders!!!

;D ;D ;D :o

Yarr.

Go Giants. ;)

Those are some fantastic shots, Willit. Maybe I could bug my dad to take me to a Giants game this year. But it looks like you had great seats.

But in all fairness, Brian Dawkins is probably my favorite Eagle, if I had to choose. ;)

You are ever so gracious Craig ;D

(currently findingout your street address and booking tickets into Heathrow....)

Brian Dawkins is also one of my favorites James, as he is the best safety in the league ;) (I'm really partial to Donovan myself-he's a true gentlemen, and he acts like it)

This was taken with my oldest digital a Canon A75
PowerShot  3.2 mega, 3 optical.

We were five rows backfrom the end zone.  Next time
I'll be taken my new camera a Kodak DX7590 5.0 mega
10 optical ( 38-380mm ).  The Kodak is a great digital
for the price.
My next game will be the end of November
against the Packers.  I'll get shots from the Flyers
games and post then.

I'm a big David Akers fan.  Not on the field all the time
but, always gets the job done.

My dad and me talk about how much David kicks ass all the time, but what's been up with him recently? He's missed 3 field goals in two games..... very unlike him.

rough start :-[    He'll get back in his grove ;D
He still upset when Mom (T.O.) and Dad ( McNabb )
were having a tiff.  McNabb is true Gentlemen and
team leader.  T.O. is, well I don't use that laugage
on the web.  Not a T.O. fan.
