I think you might think differently if you ever saw Concorde in the air. Sadly that's never likely to happen now. No matter how many times I saw that graceful bird it took my breath away. If it didn't affect you or anyone else in the same way you have a very different idea of beauty to me. ::)



The Concorde looked great in the air.  I saw a photo of four (4) flying in formation, and truth be told, a sight to behold.  Even with "everything down" it still looks graceful ...

That is very true felix but even as a Concorde lover myself I must say that she was just not suited for the job of a 21st century airliner. Fuel costs are much higher than they would have to be for such an inefficient aircraft to fly today and she was just plain environmentally unfriendly. A much more efficient means of SST is necessary to resume that kind of travel.

The Concorde as she sits outside awaiting a new building to house her................I hope they get her inside soon before the sun gives an unwelcome lasting affect........

With the Concorde, sits an early AirForce One 707, the prototype 727, prototype 737, and prototype 747, ........
