When I said "the other guy" I meant the British pilot Carrington (and his driver, with the minivan/trailer rig). But you've got an idea- convert the Ford for amphibious operations, and it'd become the Teenie-Weenie Aircraft Carrier!!

An addon would be possible, make the truck and ramp and give it an AI flightpath up and down a runway, now to make the ramp landable... would be ffun

That would be very cool... one of these days I'll get around to monkeying with those programs, but  maybe somebody else will create that one first.
Another very cool add-on would be a WWII landing craft equipped to launch and recover L-4s (military variant of the Cub) either off the deck or with a cable-and-hook arrangement, something that was done with success during the war for recon. flights.
