Did you know that Schiphol has a McDonald's restaurant next to one of their runways. You see and hear (!) the planes land at about 200 meters while eating your Big Mac. I like to go there and watch the action going on. Next time I will post some pics of it here.
Of course I know that spot. It's situated along the Buitenveldert baan. Since they started using the Polderbaan, the Buitenveldert isn't used very much anymore.
