Haha, well i must first appoligize for having even put it in this thread on the Concorde featured, so I'll make the comment on the very unusual and beautiful shot of it.
That is a wonderful craft, and it's cool to see another name on the side than what is the usual. ;)

Now to my unusual craft,......The SST is designated the "SR-75" and was created by a very talented fellow who made several planes for the "Battle of the Airlines 2003" "Mission Moon" I dont remember his real name but he goes by the handle "Ace Lomcevak" (not even sure I spelled the last name right) and he is the head of "Aeroworks" and he makes some pretty cool planes.
This SST was featured in the last stages of the race and the contestants were to transport our shuttle on ths bird to Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where in the next stage the Shuttle would be launched and we would then fly it to the moon & back to land at a facility in Nevada.
I myself didnt place all that high(160th or so out of 500 pilots) but I did manage to finnish and make it to the moon.
Im looking forward to the next race which should be comming up next year(I hope) and am anxious as to what it will be like this time. Im sure that "Race runner Ray" will have something interesting in store for us.

So, it's just a fictional FS aircraft? I thought it was based on a real one ???

Yeah, as I said im so sorry for putting it in your thread, I just wasnt looking hard at the category, hehe.
But it is based on some top secret stuff being done at the Dryden Research facility in Califonia, in fact there is a prototype designated the XB-70, an SST which "Ace" based his SR-75 on.
I'll do some research and I think I may even have some photo's of them in my files, but heh, they are so full of stuff it's hard to locate stuff sometimes.
And I'll put them in a thread elsewhere, where it belongs, and again I appoligize for butting in. ;) It was late, and I should have been in bed ;D

Rodger that Mikey, I just dont want to intrude, and I will always at least try to post where it's proper.
Thanks, I got some photos, from NASA, and when I get home from work today I'll refromat/resize and show'em to ya, yeah they are interesting huh? That thing was a real bugger to handle with the shuttle on it's back too, not to mention the engine failure that happened 5 min. into the flight and got Diverted to Cuba of all places for repairs. :o

;D

Getting back on Subject,  I remember my brother
Building an SST model painted in the old Branniff Prototype  Colors that was strange looking. Of course the public killed it here in the US.

The SIA/BA concorde was a joint operation between (geuess...) BA and SIA. The concorde flew from Heathrow to Bahrein, refuelled there and did a supersonic run to singapore.

The Indian air authorities agreed with supersonic overflights of their country, but Malaysia complained about the noise.
The last was used as an argument to cancel the service after a few flights.
The concorde was repainted into 50/50 BA/SIA(old colors, yellow instead of gold)
