Preparing

Postby ThatOnePerson » Fri Nov 07, 2008 3:20 pm

Stupid weapons bans....., anyway since I already own a couple "black rifles" I have no need for more, and since everyone is buying them left and right, I went another route of buying a new handgun. The Sig P220 Carry .45 ACP, also has night sights which is a plus. While the pistol itself would not be banned, ive heard rumors of 500% tax increases on ammo and firearms now that all the liberals are in control. I'm hoping its just BS since they cant take our guns by the 2nd amendment, I suppose if they cant take, they just make it to where we cant afford to buy or shoot em. We shall see. Either way, I planned on getting a Sig pistol at some point :D

So far so good :) I blurred the serial number if anyone's wondering why thats there.

Ever considered reloading your own ammo?

The barrel look a little bent up, but it is a pretty cool picture.

For a second I thought it was airsoft, then I saw the magazine, lol.

Haha, the barrels go up when the slide goes back.

Ive considered it, I just dont get out shooting enough to justify it, if it goes up in price chances are Ill start.

I think it is a 45 thing. My Browning 9mm did not do it and and neither does my Ruger p85. Maybe someone else can elaborate??

I read what you said about the prices and then heard the same thing on the local news. Very cool picture. Kinda' has an evil look to it. About it being bent. I'm sure when it's loaded and the top thing slides forward (what is is called, I can't think of it right now) it straightens out.

Not a gun fan myself, but the engineering on that Sig is absolutely stunning. I can't appreciate the gun, but I sure can appreciate the quality & finish created there, just perfect. Makes me want to buy one myself just to look at.

Not going to start about gunowning, as I have a strong idea about that, but that's not important right now, but I'd like to know why you bought a nightsight for it. Does it serve a purpose? For example, do you plan on shooting it at night, hunting perhaps? Or is it just a cool thing to have?

I really like the shape of the gun, looks very high-tech.

TCS, you can buy an airsoft model, less dangerous and just as marvelous...  ;)

flashlight is just for making it look better.... and it saves on ammo cost (the idiots who continue when half blinded by that lightbeam are less in number)

By night sights I actually meant the tritium in the pistol sights, not the flashlight.
