Hi there. It looks like a Van's RV-6A. Nice little aircraft. You were lucky to get a ride in it. 8-) I'm surprised you didn't know what it was though.

*i only got ones of me before take off because the pilot said no phones :( *

Quite right too. You're supposed to be enjoying the flight, not taking photos.

PS. You might like to upload those photos to the SimV server before someone removes them. Upload Images

Lucky man, looks like fun 8-)

Sean, what did your RV pilot say in his landing checklist......was it "Gear down, and welded"?  ;D ;D ;D

Steve

Aye... ;D  but he probably started saying that when he had his 150, long ago... I still say it; it makes me smile. :)

As for our young friend jollycheese: your assignment before your next lesson is to remember the make and model of that excellent airplane. ;D
And for extra credit: identify the other excellent kitplane shown taxiing in front of you... ;D

I thought that was a bit of a funny looking tutor/vigilant/viking for cadets to be flying  ;D

Flying with cadets is great fun, especially in the tutor... On your second flight you will probably have a lot more on the controls (from about a minute after takeoff down to around the finals I had control on my second go).

Hope you keep up with the cadets/flying... it is good fun.

Now I await Kinloss and potentially flying in the Chinook  ;)

Paul...G-BPLF..... 8-)...!

...its more like a Grand Prix racing car... ;D...!
