Old model aircraft... Inspired by Kevin!

Postby MWISimmer » Sun Feb 11, 2007 6:32 pm

I visited my parents today and liberated my old airfix kits from the loft.
Bear in mind they've been in boxes for a good 20 years at least, most are in need of repair (I have all the relevant bits) some have lasted quite well!

The "better" ones:

Great collection, some very rare stuff there. Spitfire looks like the Airfix 1/48 Vb. I can see that old 1/144 Vulcan B1 there also but can't for the life of me remember who made that kit.

More than likely Airfix, as most of them are.. from memory the only other ones were Tamiya.. and they were mainly cars and trucks.

And for a country that got it's a$$ kicked twice last century, you sure talk a lot of it... ;D

Well, at least we did quite well for being outnumbered and outgunned.
