My very first Astrophoto

Besides a flightsimmer, I'm also an amateur astronomer.

Yesterday I tried to make pictures of the moon with my girlfriends new digital camera through my telescope.

This is the result :

Orion Skyquest 20cm (8") f5 telescope

Top shot KB, I've been trying to get a shot of the moon but without the scope to catch the light they are nowhere near that good.

Nice. I've tried shooting thru my 'scope, but it's not working too well without a proper adaptor...

Wow! . I've been trying to photograph the moon through one side of my binoculars, but I can't hold still enough to get that kind of detail. I was thinking about building some kind of bracket to hold everything together and mount it on a tripod. Anyway, well done.

ha  fun aint it?  ive done that i just cant hole the stupid thing still and i dont have a holder lol tricky to do it that way.
