Yeovil Air Day-Part 1: Static Displays

Postby cspyro21 » Tue Oct 11, 2005 2:57 pm

Hi all,
I know these are VERY late coming, but I only just got the files on my PC on saturday. Dad sent me 4; he has many still to send me, but hes on a trip in France at the moment, so there will be few photos to strart with.

First, the static display:
Image
An Army Air Corps Apache. Don't you just get a warm, fuzzy feeling inside? I mean, just LOOK at those weapons!! Hellfires, railguns, the lot!! (If you look to the right of the pic you can see part of the hellfire rocket dispay (below Apache's nose.)

Image
A Fairey Swordfish (Mk. I I believe), a restored model. Very nice indeed, except its missing its torpedo!! (Note: the scale model of the swordfish under the port wing of the Swordfish.)

Image
It's me, accompanied by some Navy Lynx's. Quite nice aircraft, these.

The displays are in the next thread!
Thanks for looking

Nice shots. You have to understand though that the RAF would NEVER order anything that ugly! ;) ;D
