Went out to take some pictures of the sunset from the hill behind the village.

The sunset was a bit of a washout ....... but the views down to the village are pretty good. Heres a few.

Very nice Eno. I like seeing where other people live. ;)

I've never been up your way but those shots could have been taken around here.

Why doesn't somebody start a post for pictures on where people live?

Not a bad idea but I don't think it's practical. The problem with everyone adding their own pics to a thread is that it would soon exceed the forum limit. I used to post a lot of photos of my local area here & had some nice comments. I might look out a few more & post them in a separate topic.

As long as people keep them to forum guidlines and know to post them in their own topics i dont see why not. Would be nice to get a good idea of the kind of area people live in. Starting with Doug. Although we have seen before:)

I can take some photos of my local village, its pretty much the same as eno's by the looks of it. I live in a place near Stocksbridge(sheffield)...UK? anybody heard of it..
Well its a nice area, and maybe somone with a tad more knowledge should post a starting thread for where you live!
Knowing me i will probally mess things up.
