Cactus 1549 walk around Pt 1

Postby expat » Fri Jul 20, 2012 3:32 pm

Right now I am on holiday in North Carolina and not too far from me is the Carolinas Aviation Museum. In this museum is Cactus 1549, the Airbus A320 that landed on the Hudson river. She has been mounted so that is is possible to see the attitude that the aircraft landed in the water.
Quite a hard aircraft to photograph as the entire lighting the hanger is sodium lights. No matter how much adjustment of the white balance, yellow is yellow.....

A quick edit. ALL damage that is visible on the nose of the aircraft is not crash damage. This damage occurred during the salvage operation. The radome will be replaced once part has been acquired.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
