Hot on Doug's heels

Postby expat » Tue Oct 25, 2011 11:58 am

After getting a nice new toy at the weekend, I managed to take some pictures today. Just a couple of shots of the Ship Lift Museum at Waltrop (close to Dortmund). I let my boys run wild and tried to take some pictures. The menus on the D7000, it is going to take some practice to get them saved to memory. I had downloaded the manual as a pdf to my phone. Today it was invaluable and will be for a while I think. Anyway, a couple of autumn shots;

Matt

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Ah, I've been waiting to see what the new toy can do. Nice one Matt.

I'm sure you'll soon get used to it. ;)

That would be a Hot Do(u)g!.... ;)...!

Wonderful shots, Matt!

Its a funny old do. I have a number of different Cameras, digital and film, but it never crosses my mind to take them with me when I go out!
I don't even think to take photo shots with my mobile phone!

Thanks Doug, I was struggling for a title, and I thought I would hang on your shirt tails ;D

And Fozzer, I don't always have my camera with me, but was dying to give it ago. As for my phone (well, hand held computer with a phone function ::), a Samsung Galaxy) I tend t use the camara function at work. To take a quick picture of serial number and/or part numbers etc when I replacing components. A little more accurate than my hand writing............. :( ;D ;D
